On-Site Monitoring And Technical Surveillance
We perform both domestic and international on-site monitoring of the manufacture of drill strings used for land and offshore drilling operations.
On-site monitoring of the inspection (including API standards, NS-1 Standards, DS-1 Standards) of drill strings used for land and offshore drilling operations including full length longitudinal and transverse wet magnetic particle inspection, full length ultrasonic inspection (FLUT), full length electromagnetic inspection (EMI), special tubular end area inspection, and tool joint dimensional inspections.
We perform video inspections of the inside diameters of drill pipe, tubing, casing, and rig piping.
On-site monitoring services are provided for internal coatings applied to drill pipe, tubing, casing, and other tubular products.
Material Selection & Specifications
We have many years of experience with preparing specifications and material selection for manufacturing (i.e., material, coatings, heat treatment & castings), particularly pertaining to drill strings, tubulars, drill string components, downhole tools, rig surface equipment, valves, etc. In addition, we perform the evaluation and qualification of hardbanding materials.
